Grow closer to the Lord through Christ His Son.
Like Jesus we will be as glorified,
Our bodies perfect when the rapture’s done
Removed from sin forever by His side.
Into Christ’s glory this state should be sought,
For this was God’s intention all along.
In suffering like Christ is glory wrought,
Cleansed free of sin we’re right where we belong.
A blessed day will come when Christ returns
To claim His own – how great will that day be!
In just a twinkling our old life adjourns,
Obtained by God’s true Grace so perfectly.
Now, Earth as well will also be renewed,
No war, no prey, no darkness to elude.
