“Pick up that mess or I’ll hit you again,” growled the muscle bound man to his son;
That was the way his own father had been, to beat him ’til his work was done.
Beware, brutal man, you’re living a sinister plan!
So nasty and savage, you constantly ravage.
You’re working toward Hell if you can!
“Give me the money you spend on your lunch,” said the bully to a smaller boy;
He goes around slapping the young kids around; it gives him some weird sense of joy.
Beware, cruel one, a heart you have none!
You think you are cool, but you’re Satan’s blunt tool;
Keep it up and you’ll die by a gun!
“Tell me you’re Christian and I’ll kill you now!” cried the wild-eyed man with a knife;
He wants his religion to rule in the land, so convert or he’ll take your life.
Go away with your rage, you belong in a cage!
You get drunk on our blood, leave us dead in the mud;
Such eternal damnation’s your stage!
Your only hope to escape certain Hell is complete supplication to God.
If you surrender your heart to the Lord, He alone can forgive what is flawed.
The savage and mean can still be washed clean
By the blood of the Savior, who can heal cruel behavior.
1 “But know this: Difficult times will come in the last days.
2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud,
blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self control,
brutal, without love for what is good,
4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasures
rather than lovers of God,
5 holding to the form of godliness but denying its power.
Avoid these people!”
