7-13-14 I and My Father are One

When Jesus spoke that He and God were one

The Jews went wild with this pure blasphemy.

They could not comprehend that God the Son

Was also God the Father naturally.

The Son of God does dwell within the heart

Of God His Father and is one like this:

Their purpose and design are not apart,

Their power and their substance aren’t amiss.

As son of man the Saviour knew our needs;

He felt and grieved and bled just like we do.

As Son of God he always hears our pleads

And intercedes to God for us in lieu.

As we are one with Jesus so is He

At one with Father God eternally.
