What better gift a father give his son
Than coping skills to conquor and survive,
To brave the enemy who’d have him done,
To raise a family in peace and thrive.
The Spirit God has given us of power
Resists all persecution for His sake,
To keep us fearless through the final hour,
To make His gift of love too strong to break
So that it may be used to serve mankind
And save as many for the Father’s sake,
To use it with His gift of sober mind,
To conquer ignorance designed to take.
What better gift a Father give His child
The Spirit of His heart and so Self styled!
