5-25-15 White as Snow

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD:

though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;

though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Isaiah 1:18 KJV

Don’t be afraid, don’t hide your head in shame;

No matter what you’ve done I still love you.

I’m not just made of vengeance as they claim;

You do not need to fear a harsh review.

Just lift your eyes and come to Christ in prayer;

It matters not if sins be crimson red.

My Son died for your sins, now don’t despair;

His blood will wash them white as snow instead.

I sent Him as the Lamb to sacrifice,

To die for all your sins both great and small.

Accept Him as your Lord, He paid the price;

Let Jesus in your heart, on Him do call.

On Judgment Day when you approach the throne,

You’ll have no sin, for Jesus did atone

2-5-15 Eating with Sinners

The Savior came to Earth with one real goal,

To save us sinners from our helpless state.

In order for the Lord to make us whole

He had to sit with us and share our plate.

If Christ had wanted, He’d have climbed the throne

And saved His people from the Roman rule,

But He had bigger plans, to thus atone

For all our sins upon the cross so cruel.

So here He was, our God, the great I AM,

Receiving sinners in His company.

He lived among us as the perfect Lamb;

He gave His life for us to set us free.

If you surround yourself with Christian kind

How can you help the Savior heal the blind?

8-1-14 Sinfected

When Adam fell, he plunged the world in sin;

The serpent roamed the Earth to blind us all,

Corrupting ev’rything he found therein

And brought decay and death with sickened pall.

When we are born, we are so innocent,

But all around us sin does permeate;

We reach an age to choose our own descent,

And in the course of time we take the bait.

Infected now, we can’t approach God’s throne,

But with His love He offers us a chance,

A sacrifice by which we may atone;

If we believe the Lamb we will advance.

In sin we all fall short of Heaven’s gate,

But Jesus died for us to change our fate.

7-29-14 If You Have Seen Me

If you would seek to know the will of God,

Just look upon what Jesus said to do,

For they are One; this truth should leave you awed!

You see the Son, you see the Father, too.

So God came down, assumed the shape of man,

Here to undo the bane that Adam wrought.

Atoning for our sins was His great plan

To make us sons and daughters as we ought.

Pick up the Bible now and read the words in red;

What Jesus heard from God He said the same,

Then suffered on the cross, His blood was shed,

So you can enter Heaven in His name.

The two in One is really One in three;

The Father, Son and Spirit want you free!
