8-11-15 Repent!

And herein do I exercise myself,

to have always a conscience

void of offence toward God,

and toward men.

But if it does arise attack it fresh

Lest sickness turn to death then all is lost.

The Holy Spirit guides us on to God,

Convicting us if we should start to sin,

And when we sin, repent from what is flawed

Lest sin evolve and apathy begin.

Repent! Assault offence at every turn.

Admit it right away to God and man.

The fire of your repentance makes you burn;

You won’t touch it again, not if you can.

Stay honest with the Lord: repent and pray,

To keep your conscience clear from day to day.

3-30-15 Neither Fail Nor Forsake

I AM your God, and I will always BE,

I do not sleep, I do not slumber, too.

I watch a star evolve, I watch a flea,

I watch the universe; I’m watching you.

I will not fail you; you can count on Me.

I know that life has its adversity;

I won’t abandon you when love’s at stake.

1-30-14 Obedience

Obedience is crucial as a child

Who does not have a full awareness yet,

As such maturity will get him riled

Then later to be filled with some regret.

But if he does the things that he is told

By those who really want him to evolve,

He’ll take the Lord’s commandments to uphold

In love to God and from his own resolve.

But he that doesn’t care to thus obey

The rules of his own parents or his God

Will lack the skills of life and then fall prey

To Satan’s will whose way is wide and broad.

Obey the smaller things when you are young,

And you will climb with ease the highest rung.
