2-8-16 Strengthen and Protect

But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.

The Lord is faithful when no others are,

And what He says He’ll do you know He will.

The covenants He forms outlasts the stars;

The promises He makes He shall fulfill.

No matter where you go there Jesus is:

Ten thousand suns within the darkest night.

No need to fear at all, for you are His;

He’ll strengthen you from all of Satan’s might.

The Savior is your armor and your shield,

Protecting you completely with His love.

The evil one can’t help but bow and yield,

For your security’s from up above.

The devil has no power over you,

For Christ is both your rock and shelter, too.

12-24-15 Under the Law

But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

Galatians 4:4 KJV

Before the earth was formed His time was set

To come into the world the perfect Lamb,

Fulfilling every prophecy and debt,

The son of woman and the great I AM.

He put a period upon the Law,

Conforming to it to the nth degree.

They all were made for Him and this He saw

Unto the cross, then there on Calvary

He bore the penalty of sin, His death,

By taking all our sins, the Law fulfilled,

Yet in three days He took a Holy breath

To bring eternal life with grace instilled.

The Law was satisfied; He broke its curse.

Believe in Jesus, let His love immerse.

REMEMBER: Jesus said: “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” (Matthew 5:17)

6-25-15 Every Thing

In every thing give thanks:

for this is the will of God

Without His grace then nothing would exist.

The fact that you’re alive is cause to sing!

Each time that you inhale, that air God’s kissed.

No matter what the scene, have gratitude.

Your bus breaks down in route? Meet someone new.

If you hate what you eat, thank God you’ve food.

If you drive off a cliff, enjoy the view.

With Jesus as your Savior you are blessed,

For home is where the Lord wants you to be.

Your very life is gratitude expressed,

So share the Word with everyone you see.

In every thing give thanks, this is God’s will

In Jesus Christ concerning you, fulfill.
