1-6-16 Believe in Jesus

⁵³ And when they had passed over, they came into the land of Gennesaret, and drew to the shore. ⁵⁴ And when they were come out of the ship, straightway they knew him, ⁵⁵ And ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that were sick, where they heard he was. ⁵⁶ And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.

While Jesus walked the earth He healed the sick,

And has been healing sickness since that time.

When people heard him ’round they gathered quick;

His name should do that now in our lifetime.

We don’t need scores of healers ‘cross the land

In vast revivals pitching tents in town.

We don’t need mega churches gold and grand,

Announcers telling cripples “Come on down!”

The only thing you need is to believe

That Christ can heal your broken heart and more.

A simple faith in Him will soon achieve

The healing that you need and cry out for.

The Savior hears you calling out His name;

Reach out to Him – you’ll never be the same.

9-5-15 Ascension

So then after the Lord had spoken unto them,

he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Imagine being there that awesome day,

Among those with the resurrected Lord,

Who learned from Christ Himself just how to pray

And seen Him make the blind and deaf restored!

O just to hear His final words on earth

As angels gathered ’round up in the air!

No one that’s ever been of mortal birth

Will fully understand the wonders there.

And then to watch the Savior start to rise!

The host of heaven there among the clouds!

If we were there we’d scarce believe our eyes

As Jesus pierced the sky above the crowd!

He sits now on the right hand next to God!

When He returns the universe will laud!

8-8-15 Undoing Satan’s Plan

³² And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils.

³³ And all the city was gathered together at the door.

³⁴ And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.

Mark 1:32-34 KJV

Before the serpent dared deceive poor Eve

The Garden was a paradise on Earth.

There was no sickness and no cause to grieve;

No sin existed, no defect or dearth.

But after Adam fell and sin moved in,

Disease and devils grew across the land.

Then Jesus came and let His work begin,

Rebuking and undoing Satan’s plan.

Christ showed us all with action what to do,

Now that we are ambassadors of His:

Reclaim the Garden, in His name renew,

Beginning in ourselves the way Christ is.

With Jesus in control, God’s kingdom come;

With love prepare for New Jerusalem.

Still love him as yourself – don’t compromise.

A man that gathers much has no surplus;

And he that gathers scant lacks nothing thus.

7-18-14 In the Midst

You know that I am with you night and day,

Much closer than the pulsing of your heart;

So when there’s two or more of you to pray

Or gather in My name, I will take part.

My Spirit in your midst does magnify,

Attending to your needs; you’re part of Me.

I’m with a congregation or just two;

To minister and lift each other to

A knowing that our Father’s Will be done.

Where two or more are gathered in My name,

So there I am among you like a flame.
