2-20-16 Last Chance

⁶ And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, ⁷ Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Behold! Those great and fearful days will come,

The tribulation of those left behind,

Without the Holy Ghost to then become

Convicted of the Truth as so defined.

The Gospel will be spread to everyone

In every tongue that dwells upon the earth,

Salvation by the blood of Christ the Son,

As God so loved the world to bring rebirth.

The choice must then be made to choose the Lord,

To worship Him that made the universe,

Or so remain among the heathen horde

And so be judged with death and even worse.

Fear God! The angel cried across the land,

Choose now behind which banner you shall stand!

1-1-16 Please Let Him In

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

The hour is late; don’t let Him pass you by!

Please let Him in; He’s who you’re looking for!

The beating of your heart means He’s nearby!

Do you not recognize your Savior’s voice?

Please let Him in; you’ll never be the same!

Just open up your heart and you’ll rejoice!

O sinner, Jesus died that you might live!

When He was on the cross He thought of you!

Please let Him in with all His love to give!

Don’t let another moment pass you through!

O sinner, drink with Christ His cup of bliss!

Please let Him in! Eternity’s His kiss!

4-21-15 Have Faith

Have faith when all the roads for you are closed,

When all the avenues you’ve tried have failed.

Your faith in Christ will have new ways exposed,

Will open boulevards where none prevailed.

Have faith when everyone has told you No,

When time and time again you face defeat.

Your faith in Christ will help success to grow,

Will show you how to win when you compete.

Have faith when hope is low and all seems lost,

When others walk away in dark despair.

Your faith in Christ will stand at any cost,

Will give you victory when none would dare.

Have faith when even you begin to doubt;

Your faith in Christ makes mountains move about.

10-18-14 The Lord’s Prayer 03: Give Us This Day

O God we thank you so much for this day,

To let us rise from bed and praise Your name;

We lean on You for everything, we pray,

For shelter, clothes and food, for warming flame.

We ask the same from You each day, we know,

Tomorrow is not promised us at all;

You are the Source ‘from whom all blessings flow’,

So for today we look to You and call.

O Lord we know we don’t deserve a thing,

For we are hopeless sinners every one,

But please forgive us, on Your grace we cling;

We live for You and Jesus Christ Your Son.

We pray, give us this day our daily bread

And be with us each hour that lies ahead.

10-5-14 Be Ready

If Jesus comes today are you prepared?

If you have doubt at all then get that way!

Don’t waste another hour and think you’re spared;

He’ll be here any moment of the day.

If Christ’s blood covers you, resign your will

And let His love shine forth in word and deed.

Go out and save the lost, His work fulfill,

And follow God’s commandments though you bleed.

If you are waiting for some proof or sign

Before you give your heart to Jesus then,

This IS the proof, this IS the cue divine,

Don’t wait another second once again!

When He returns your heart will give a shout!

Be ready NOW! He’s near! Don’t be left out!

9-22-14 What He Said

When you walk boldly in the name of Christ

There will be those attracted to the Light.

Among them souls the Spirit has enticed,

And others who are looking for a fight.

No matter what their motivation is,

Give all your love as Jesus loves you too,

And don’t be worried when they start their quiz:

The Spirit of your Father will come through.

The questions may be pointed or obtuse,

But God can see the motive of the heart.

Just open up your mouth, let Him produce

The words that you will say right from the start.

Surrender to the Lord your speech and thought

And He will have you say what you cannot.

…take no thought how or what ye shall speak:

for it shall be given you in that same hour
