10-30-15 Alpha and Omega

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Revelation 21:6 KJV

The Lord of Lords and King of Kings will stand:

The promises I’ve made have all come true.

To all who thirst for life I freely give,

Refreshing and delightful with no end.

When You are one with Me you truly live;

The things I’ve said you will now comprehend.”

And O! The cup of love that’s passed around

Will overflow forever and abound!

3-30-15 Neither Fail Nor Forsake

I AM your God, and I will always BE,

I do not sleep, I do not slumber, too.

I watch a star evolve, I watch a flea,

I watch the universe; I’m watching you.

I will not fail you; you can count on Me.

I always keep the promises I make.

I know that life has its adversity;

I won’t abandon you when love’s at stake.

I did not leave when Adam fell from grace,

I never did forsake the prophets bold.

I was with Jesus til sin took His place;

I was with Him when death failed to take hold.

Relax, My child, You’ll never be alone

I AM your God, and you are all My own.

3-18-15 Temptation

Temptation is a tawdry, painted whore

Seducing you into her bed of death;

How well she knows afflictions always pour

And promises respite within her breath.

We all must suffer hardships in our life;

They are a gift from God to help us grow,

But if we are enticed to dodge our strife

We soon can not endure its ebb and flow.

Our trials are meant to draw us to the Lord,

Temptation, though, does claim a better way.

In Jesus do we find our true reward:

He suffered unto death and did not stray.

Say “Get behind me, Satan! Out the door!

With Christ I can endure it all and more.”

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation:

for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life,

which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

1-7-15 I Look Unto You

My God! I know that You will hear my prayer!

You know how cold and grey the world can be,

With bitter blood and hatred everywhere.

I look unto You, Lord; please help me see.

My enemies encircle night and day;

They hate the light and love from You through me.

Forgive them now, they know not what they say.

I look unto You, Lord; please hear my plea.

No matter what the cost, I’ll wait for You;

One day You will return and set me free!

The promises You made are coming true.

I look unto You, Lord, on bended knee.

O God of my salvation unafraid,

The love I have for You will never fade.
