7-20-14 Selfish and Selfless

Sometimes you act so selfish, this is true,

And no one else dare matter more than that.

You’ll have your way, and nothing else will do;

Admit it, you can act just like a brat.

You are the most important person that you know;

If someone else you haven’t met them yet.

If there is any hope for you to grow

You must place yourself last with no regret.

Try valuing another more than you;

In fact, treat others with a servant’s heart,

And with humility let love come through

As if they’re your Beloved from the start.

Let God provide your ev’ry want and need;

Consider others first in thought and deed.
